We are learning about mittens. We just made a graph about what we wore on our hands today. 2 people wore gloves, 4 people wore mittens, and no one had bare hands. It is very cold today, so it's good that we all wore something to keep our hands warm. After recess, we will read the story "The Mitten" by Jan Brett.
Just like yoga, travel, family, and friends, teaching kindergarten is one of my passions. I hope that I do it with style!
I have taught kindergarten since 2008, and I believe that early intervention is the key to a smarter start in life! I like teaching little kids in kindergarten and big kids at university. In fact, I love learning so much that I've returned to university to pursue a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction (Early Childhood) at University of Victoria.
