Barkley Goes to Bottineau

I went to Bottineau to celebrate American Thanksgiving. Bottineau is in North Dakota in the United States of America. I had to cross the border. I got my passport stamped!

Here are some of the things I did in Bottineau:
-I slept in a real bed instead of my beaver lodge
-I rode behind a quad on a sled
-I ate lefse (Norwegian flatbread). It was yummy!
-I saw a statue of a French fur trapper named Pierre Bottineau. I think he used to hunt beavers for their fur. Yikes!
-I ate turkey and drank orange punch at Thanksgiving dinner.
-I had a super fun time.

Thank you for taking me to a new country.

We all really enjoyed your Bouncy Ben and B words lesson. You are all so clever!!

I am really looking forward to my trip to Canada! Do you have any questions you would like to ask my friends in Kilvemnon? I can pass them on!
Oink and best wishes!
Piggley.
